Bindi Irwin, daughter of late crocodile hunter Steve Irwin, and dance partner Derek Hough have been crowned winners of Dancing With The Stars Season 21 (2015).
After 11 weeks, the grand champions of Dancing With The Stars Season 21 have been named! The 17-year-old wildlife enthusiast took home the Mirror Ball Trophy home on Tuesday’s finals night.
Bindi and Derek defeated Nick Carter and Sharna Burgess and Alek Skarlatos and Lindsay Arnold to take home the crown. Carter and Burgess came in second with Skarlatos and Arnold taking third place.
“Here I am given this opportunity to remember moments in my life that I never thought I’d really be able to look at and smile,” Bindi said. “I never thought I’d be given that chance. Thank you for changing my life,” she added.
Meanwhile, ABC has announced today that Dancing with the Stars will return for its 22nd season in 2016 on Monday March 21.
